What to write on your card
Distance to the hole
Write the yardage for each shot (e.g. 180, 45). BirdieNote uses this to look up the expected strokes benchmark.
Lie / surface code
Add a letter after the distance: F for fairway, R for rough, G for green, S for sand. This tells the AI where each shot started.
Your score per hole
Circle or write your total strokes. The AI reads your final score for each hole automatically.
Mental score (optional)
Jot a mental commitment score per hole. BirdieNote tracks your mental game alongside your golf stats.
